Better control of stored heat

High heat retention storage heaters are designed to retain stored heat for longer and give you greater control over when heat is released compared with older storage heaters.

High heat retention storage heaters are required to store 45% of unused heat over 24 hours. Elnur states that its heaters store 51%.

HHR plus heaters can work with Economy 7, Economy 10 and some smart or time-of-use tariffs.

Which storage heater do I need?

HHR plus heaters can be controlled by WIFI and can use surplus solar energy with separate control boxes.

Four models are available with heat outputs of: 270W · 550W · 820W · 1,100W

The right size depends on factors including the room and its heat-loss characteristics. Your electricity tariff, meter setup and how you use your heating can also affect the most suitable arrangement.
